A Journey from Naples to Your Neighborhood
The vision of 'UrbanForum Pizzeria was born out of a dream to share true Neapolitan pizza with Edinburgh. The venture started in 1985 by the Bianchi family as an intimate, family-owned eatery, carrying forward recipes passed down for generations.
The expertise of pizza-making was passed to our founder, Marco Bianchi, during extensive journeys across Italy, notably with Neapolitan pizza specialists. Coming back to the UK, she was inspired to offer that same authentic pizza experience, strictly adhering to traditional crafting methods combined with select high-grade ingredients.
Our roots began as a modest establishment with just 12 seats, yet we have expanded to become a staple in the local food scene. Our adherence to authentic wood-fired oven baking techniques and the daily preparation of fresh dough with top-tier ingredients remains steadfast.
Continuing as a family-owned business, 'UrbanForum Pizzeria is now led by the second generation of the Bianchi household, together with a team driven by the same passion. Although we have integrated modern touches, our core principle continues to be providing delightful, genuine pizzas that unite friends and families.
